Ciao everyone! My name is Lorenzo and I am the owner and operator of Florence Tour Guide. Like many here in Florence I owe my name to a very important man in the history of this city, Lorenzo de ‘Medici called the Magnificent.
I was born and raised in Florence I also lived in the United Kingdom, London for 7 years and by doing so perfected the use of the English language and acquiring an important life experience. I moved back to Florence in 2007 I started working in tourism as a driver for a local Chauffer-service. I have now been working as a Guide of the city Florence and its Province since 2009.
I am a proud Florentine like my Farthers before me. My family has always lived here for many generations, The most precious thing I can convey to the visitors of this city is the love and the passion for the history of Florence, its beauty and the great people who made it. It is the protagonists of Florentine history that are still remembered by the locals with sayings and tales that make everyone proud in their hearts and remind us of who we are.
My aim is to educate and show you the Florentine spirit as you visit this great city with me your personal guide.

MUSEUM TOURS.
These tours can be Tailor to suit you the client the tours range from 3 hours up to 6 hours depending on your needs. One stop not to be missed is the most visited museum in Italy, the Uffizi Gallery. You will discover its famous masterpieces highly regarded all over the world the collection includes Venus by Botticelli probably the most famous icon and the paintings of Masaccio, Giotto, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Piero della Francesca, Titian, Caravaggio.
After the Uffizi gallery we will take the opportunity to walk through the centre of Florence talking about its history and admiring its magnificent cathedral arriving at the museum, the Accademia which is famous for Michelangelo’s David.
The tour can be implemented or custom made to your taste choosing from a variety of museums like Pitti, Bargello, Palazzo Vecchio, OPA, etc.
EVENING TOUR.

Visit Florence in a relaxed enviroment , away from the throing crowds of tourists .
You will see the main monuments of the city from the outside while walking along the quiete streets and alleys of the old town. You enjoy the splender of beautiful squares’ small hidden churches and chapels like Santa Maria Novella or Santa Croce. Enjoy walking down the elegant Via Tornabuoni with its prestigious palaces and boutiques.You will also pass by Palazzo Medici, crossing the river via Ponte Vecchio to admire the beautiful Palazzo Pitti whist in this part of Florence why not take the chance to enjoy a excellent homemade “gelato” (ice cream), “caffè” or maybe a glass of wine!

I was born and raised in Florence but I lived 7 years in London and during this period I improved my knowledge of English. I have accumulated a lot of experience in the field of tourism traveling in many places around Italy with my clients and thanks to these experiences I have learned more deeply about my country and especially my region, Tuscany.
