Tour of Genoa and Porto Fino

Genoa was an Important Maritime Republic, its ships were recognized by the “cross of St. George” flying high on the masts of the ships. Genoa is the birthplace of Christopher Columbus, Its most distinguished monuments is undoubtedly the high tower of the Lanterna (light house). Take a walk down its narrow alleys and visit the Romanesque style Cathedral of San Lorenzo or visit one of its many monumental squares like the Piazza de Ferrari.

We will have lunch in a Seafood restaurant later you will then travel Portofino. Right in the Italian Riviera, Portofino was originally a small fishermen’s village. Now its one of the most charming and most famous images of Italy. Enjoy a short walk and relax while looking out to the sea sitting on a bench or take a stroll and visit the many famous fashion designers boutiques.
